GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA (March 16, 2026) Donors believed in the power of giving and now the Heartland United Way is inviting people in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties to help celebrate a record-setting fundraising campaign.


The Heartland United Way will hold its 79th Annual Meeting on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Golf Club (2820 Riverside Drive, Grand Island).

The celebration will honor those whose belief in making our communities a better place has truly been inspiring.

Those at the celebration will hear from passionate volunteers, community partners and those impacted by Heartland United Way-funded programs, learning what inspired their belief in the Heartland United Way mission.

Also on the Agenda:
 

  • Campaign Chairs Kent and Tonja Brown will announce a record-breaking campaign and recognize all who contributed to the successful campaign, including our Top 25 Pacesetters and the workplaces who rallied their employees to give.
     
  • Board Chair Kent Brown will recognize retiring board members and announce new leadership.
     
  • The United Way Community Partner Agencies will be recognized for the impact they have on thousands of lives in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties.
